MEET THE MOOSE
Who are those wacky guys from Cousins of the Moose?
What are their favourite colours?  (Red...no Blue).
What do they like to do on Wednesday evenings?

PAUL "PAPPY" MORRIS
vocals, mandolin, acoustic 6-string guitar, Fender Stratocaster,
fiddle, Ibanez bass, square dance calls

Raised in Athens, Ontario, Pappy is a former member of Canadian punk
legends Sons of Ishmael and also spent lost time in the punk band M.S.I..
Besides scouring  the earth for lost Canadian folk songs
about fur traders and explorers, Pappy spends most of his time lovingly
crafting hockey sweaters, worn by the likes of the Trailer Park Boys
and Margaret Atwood.  A member of a half-dozen local hockey teams,
Pappy is an expert on junior hockey teams (try and stump him...it can't
be done) and his favourite arena is Varsity Arena in Toronto.  Pappy's
favourite colour is red, his favourite hockey team is the Athens Aeros,
he hates the Oshawa Generals and the sports fans of Hamilton, his favourite
past-time is Chuck-A-Puck, he loves to eat Cap'n Crunch and his ideal
Wednesday evening involves driving the backroads of Ontario
looking for historical monuments and folk festivals.

MICK KERN
vocals, 6 & 12-string Fender acoustic guitars, 381V69 Rickenbacker (2003),
360/12 Rickenbacker (2005), bass, banjo, drums

Born in Halifax, Mike has also lived in Dartmouth, Victoria, Vancouver,
Richmond, Calgary, St. Albert, Edmonton, Blackburn Hamlet, Orleans,
Ottawa, North York and Toronto.  He loves the Montreal Canadiens, the Toronto
Argonauts and the Calgary Stampeders, though he misses the Calgary Cannons (P.C.L.)
and the Montreal Expos.  Mick wasted his youth playing bass in the Randypeters
and later was co-founder of the Town Cryers before leaving that band for a
brief career in table hockey. Mick's favourite colour is fire-engine red, he loves
Stanley Kubrick films, thinks Metal Gear Solid  & GTA: Vice City are the best video
games ever, loves the Clash, Beatles, Byrds, Ramones, Neil Young, surf music &
mid-60's garage bands.  His ideal Wednesday evening involves having slept in until
3:00 p.m., eating hamburgers at Lick's and playing video games with Alexander
until the cows come home.

MIKE THOMPSON
Fender Stratocasters, 6-string acoustic guitar, harmonica, vocals, woo woo's

The Rockabilly Kid (aka Ten-Takes Thomps) finally earned full-time
Moose status after some fine guitar solos, mournful harmonica riffs and
endless bickering over how many re-takes one is permitted before
becoming like David Gilmour of Pink Floyd.  M.T. is a lefty, which may
explain a lot, come to think of it.  After doing a tour-of-duty with
George Stryker while exiled in Ottawa (as well as playing with
Johnny Deck and the Cards), Mikey finally found his way back to Toronto
and his beloved Maple Leafs.  Once sang a Duran Duran song with his high
school band.  This last point cannot be stressed enough.  His ideal Wednesday
evening used to involve reading hockey books half out-of-his skull on cheap whiskey
while listening to obscure alt-country bands...but then he went and got married.
His fine solo album, "Another Hundred Miles", is available for sale.
